Announcement June 2025

Planning Ahead: QuickBOLT’s Response to the Most Recent Tariffs

This update builds on our previous communications sent on March 6 and April 4, 2025, and outlines new developments in U.S. trade policy affecting steel and aluminum—core materials used in QuickBOLT products.

New Tariff Announcement – June 4, 2025

On June 4, the U.S. government announced an additional 25% tariff on imported steel and aluminum under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act. This brings the total tariff rate to 50%, effectively doubling the previous tariff increase.

This development affects all base materials used in manufacturing QuickBOLT’s industry-leading solar mounts.

QuickBOLT’s Response to the Additional Tariff Increase

QuickBOLT believes your business can be protected—and better prepared—through clear, early communication. This update reflects a proactive approach: anticipating changes, responding with intention, and finding creative ways to support long-term partnerships.

Over the last three weeks, the following actions have been taken:

 • Re-evaluated material sourcing and vendor relationships to choose the most cost-stable and reliable options.

 • Reorganized internal operational budgets to absorb the majority of the cost impact before it reaches customers.

 • Expanded the Tariff Resource Page to include this update and maintain a complete archive of all prior tariff communications.

Price Adjustment Notification – Effective Monday, July 14, 2025

To address this material cost increase, QuickBOLT pricing will increase by 9.5% starting Monday, July 14, 2025.

This change ensures continued access to high-quality, leak-proof mounting solutions—backed by a family-owned business that believes the best way to serve you is through reliable information delivered clearly and ahead of schedule.
