With over 20 years in the roofing industry, Wade Shepherd is a recognized expert in steep-slope tile roof systems, code compliance, and innovative roofing solutions. As Senior Manager of Roof System Components & Technical Services at Westlake Royal Building Products, Wade collaborates with sales teams, supply chains, and manufacturers to drive product growth and provide nationwide technical support.

Wade’s expertise includes launching new products, improving roofing systems, and training professionals across the industry—including contractors, architects, and building officials—on installation methods and building codes. A UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Wade serves on the boards of the Cool Roof Rating Council and RICOWI Foundation and is an active member of leading roofing organizations like NRCA and ARMA.
